What makes a photoshoot go well?

My number 1 tip to ensure you are happy with how your photos turn out is COMMUNICATION! As your photographer I want to know what your vision and inspirations for your photos. Do you want them to be intimate and dreamy or do you want to show off the playfulness of your relationship? What do you enjoy doing? Hiking at Turkey Mountain or wandering around Downtown Tulsa? By knowing your interests it will help your photographer capture you at your best!

Make sure you are comfortable with your outfit choice! If you are typically one who wears casual outfits but decides to get extremely dressed up and wear heels for your session..... you most likely will be uncomfortable and that can show in your photos!

If you are doing family photos with your young children - let them be kids! Try not to stress too much on making sure they are being on their best behavior! As your photographer, I will work around the kids! By letting them have fun and enjoy themselves your photos are going to turn out much more authentic and showcase you as a family!
